Are the henna cones made fresh?
Yes the henna cones will be made up fresh for every order. At times if large quantities of henna cones are made together, they wil be frozen which helps to preserve the henna and stops it diminishing. Frozen cones are no different to receiving a newly made cone as the freezing of the henna stops it from releasing dye immediately.
Does your henna contain any harmful chemicals?
No. The henna paste is 100% natural.
What are the ingredients of the henna cones?
Fresh henna powder, lemon juice, sugar and essential oil.
Can everyone use your henna?
This henna is suitable for use on any skin type except for during pregnancy, the essential oil used is not suitable and Mild Mix henna is best for this purpose. As with any product for the skin a small patch test should be carried out 24 hours before use so see if there are any reactions.
What methods of payments do you take?
Payments are accepted through Paypal. Cheques are welcome and henna cones will be despatched after payment clears. Please make cheques payable to Afruza Ahmed.
How much is postage?
Postage costs are based on individual weights of items. These are calculated against Royal Mail weight categories. You can select from two shipping methods, 1st Class Standard and 1st Class Record Delivery.
Please note the HennaByAfruza will not be held responsible for any delay in postage caused by Royal Mail. Any fresh henna orders not delivered on time will lose staining ability and will have to be repurchased as replacements will not be given due to circumstances out of our control.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All orders are posted via 1st class delivery so that product reaches you as fresh as possible. If there is a frozen batch of henna ready, the cones may be delivered sooner.
How long does the henna last?
You can keep the henna at room temperature for up to one week but its staining power will diminish the longer it is left like this. Keep the henna in the fridge and it will have good staining power for up to 2 weeks. To get the best results the henna cones should be frozen as soon as you receive them and they can be stored like this for up to one year. Keeping them frozen stops the henna from releasing any more dye so it is as good as using the henna made up fresh - just thaw them when ready to use!
What is the returns policy?
Due to stocking conditions fresh made henna cones are non refundable. If a cones is not usable ie. it gets blocked you can post the cone back and will be refunded the price of the cones. Glitter products can only be refunded if returned unused. Candles will only be refunded if received not as described and still in their original packaging. Customers will have to pay for posting items back and refunds will be given excluding initial postage costs.
